What are Photoshop Actions?

Photoshop Actions are default settings, that allow you to apply a certain look or style to your images with just one click. Or to correct your pictures by preset controllers.

The Actions provide you with the parameters and allow you to adjust them just as you like. Photoshop Actions help you to increase your workflow and improve your photographs likewise.

There are a few ways to Install Photoshop Actions on your computer.

QUICK INSTALLATION

There is another, faster installation method for you to try. You need to open the folder with the action document (ATN file) on Windows and simply double-click on it.

Photoshop will be automatically started and the new Action will appear in the operations palette.

Method 1

1 – Find Photoshop actions you like.

2 – Choose the action that suits your photos and click “Download.”

 3 – Open Photoshop.

 4 – Press Alt + F9 combination to open the “Actions” panel.

 5 – Click on the small icon in the upper right corner of the panel. After that, the operation panel menu will appear on the screen.

6 – Select the “Load Actions” from the list of commands.

 7 – As a result, you’ll see a new “Load” window on the screen, where you can specify the file you want to install. This file may be on your desktop or placed in a special folder for downloaded add-ons.

 8 – Select the necessary file and click “Download.”

Method 2

  • Open Photoshop, and click on the Actions Palette menu button (located in the top-right of the Actions Palette
  • Select “Load Actions”
  • Select one of the .atn files from the download
  • Repeat for the other .atn files if necessary.
